Edith Portik Middleton was adopted from Transylvania, Romania and grew up traveling the globe. Edith is passionate about traveling, education, and enjoying life's everyday precious moments. She adores her activity filled lifestyle in Maui, Hawai'i with her beach pup Hemingway and two daughters, Anastasia and Aurora. Edith is an honored Fulbright Teachers for Global Classrooms Fellow, Chairs the English Department at King Kekaulike High School, and lectures part time at The University of Hawai'i Maui College. "Education is not only a passion but an absolute way of life. It is the value that I attributes to my rescue from my Transylvanian orphanage, at the age of ten, and the beacon that has guided every aspect of my life."
