I have made a personal commitment to find time to post; even if just a short few words. I created this space last year during my National Writing Project fellowship and I am disappointed that I’ve had it on the back burner for over a year.
My Art of Becoming is exactly as the title suggests, I am who I am yet to be. It is my hope that these posts and the pages of my writing journals will someday reveal the artistic growths that mold me.
Year TWO has begun here at the Fairfield Alternative High School…
Standards, units, expectations, rubrics, diagrams, turnitin.com, evaluations, heroes… What’s for lunch? Feeling overwhelmed and extremely unfocused. I need help but don’t know how to get it. Who do I ask and how do I phrase it? Open house course sheets for parents who hopefully will show and paperwork for administrators who hopefully will care. One day at a time, this I need to remember. Activities to plan so that units can function. I wish I had a planning team, someone to turn to, run to, talk to.
Good for you for picking this blog back up….a great place to reflect. If you need any help with materials/units, let me know. You are NOT alone!
I love the idea, the principle of “I am who I am yet to be!”
I believe you are gifted for divine purposes.
